29 of the 30 people, who were on trial due to “insulting the President” through a press statement organized in Kocaeli on February 15, 2015, were acquitted; whereas Kocaeli 5th Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced one defendant to 1 year and two months of imprisonment. The announcement of the verdict was deferred.
